

He was a member of Zion United Presbyterian Church, where he held many positions throughout the years.
Mr. Myers was a life-long farmer and retired from Magnavox after 29 years of service.
Survivors include his children and spouses: Freda and Marty Fletcher, Curtis and Pam Myers, and Dudley and Robyn Myers; four grandchildren and spouses: Nicole Tucker, Jarai and James Blevins, Bart and Miranda Myers, and Wes and Chelsea Myers; five great grandchildren: Logan and Noah Blevins, Levi and Luke Myers, and Raylea Myers; brother and sister-in-law: Guy and Emma Lou Myers; sister: Joann Christianson of Hyattsville, Maryland; sisters-in-law: Gertrude Jennings, Hazel Bowers, Betty Reaves; brothers-in-law: Hugh Allen Jones, Lyndon Woolsey, James Bowers; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
He was the son of the late Perry and Oleta Myers and was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Myers; son-in-law: Bob Tucker; brother-in-law: Norman Christianson; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Lois Jones, Emmaline and Howard Jeffries, Eddie Woolsey, and C. C. Reaves.
The family will receive friends from 4pm-8pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 4:30 pm Sunday, May 10, 2015, at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Doug Jennings, Rev. Bill Wing, and Rev. Cindy Paxton officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Myers, Vernon Jennings, Steve Jones, Eddie Key, Bryce Cutshaw, James Blevins, Kent Myers, and Harold Jones.
Honorary pallbearers are members of Zion Church and close friends and neighbors.
The family extends a special thanks to Smokey Mountain Hospice and Jeraldean Shaw.
