

She was a school teacher at Mosheim Elementary/Middle School.
Danise was a member of RidgeCrest Bible Church.
She was a Sunday School Teacher in the Ladies’ Class, a volunteer at Smokey Mountain Day Camp, and she coached volleyball Mosheim School.
Survivors include her mother: Rosella G. Nelson; sisters and brothers-in-law: Noreen and Keith Gould of Laurel, Nebraska and Kim and Russ McDonald of Omaha, Nebraska; brother and sister-in-law: Nathan and Kristin Nelson of Lincoln, Nebraska; three nieces; five nephews; four great nieces; several cousins; five aunts; seven uncles; very special friends and caregivers: Don and Carol Adams of Greeneville, Kristi and Adrian Anttila and children, Karen and John Legg and children, and Nicholas Adams; and her very special friends: Nancy and Homer Causey of Greeneville.
Danise is survived by a plethora of church family and friends, along with her colleagues in the Mosheim and Greene County School System.
The Mosheim 2012-13 School Annual was dedicated in honor of Danise. The family wants to express their heart-felt appreciation to the Mosheim Community, her school staff, and students for the fundraisers and support during her illness. She will be greatly missed by all of her students and she always hoped to make a positive difference in each student’s life.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Charles Nelson, her paternal grandparents, Victor and Hazel Nelson, and her maternal grandparents, Glen and Christina Poole.
The family will receive friends 4pm-7pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, a funeral service will be held at 7pm Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel, with Pastor Don Adams officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brian and Brett Gould, Carter and Collin Nelson, Silas McDonald, Ralph Banister, and Dale Hoffart.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nicholas Adams, Adrian and Kristi Anttila, John and Karen Legg, and Homer Causey.
Following the service in Greeneville, the body will be taken to Nebraska, where there will be a funeral service at Monroe Evangelical Free Church in Marquette, Nebraska, at 11am Saturday, May 4. Pastor Don Adams and Rev. Marshall Ericksen will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Mamre Evangelical Free Church Cemetery in Marquette.
