David Dewayne King

David enjoyed playing jokes on his roommates and staff. He always had a smile on his face. Even though David had many medical challenges over the years, he always seemed to be very happy.

David was loved by many people over the years. He spent his young years with his mother, Brenda Harvey, at home. He then lived for several years in Greene Valley Development Center. David was then transitioned out into a group home with Care Givers of Tenn, where he spent the rest of his adult live. Throughout the years, David has been truly loved by family and friends.

Survivors include two brothers, Bryan King and Tommy King; and many friends. David was especially close to his staff at Seminole Home where he lived.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Harvey.

The family and staff will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

We encourage everyone who knew David to stop by and share some good memories with family and friends.

At the request of the family, David will be cremated.
