Denise Walker

Denise Walker, 67, of Greeneville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026. Born on September 17, 1958, to the late George W. Hamilton and Geraldine Hamilton, Denise was a lifelong resident of Greeneville and a 1976 graduate of Greeneville High School.

Denise dedicated her career to healthcare, serving as a CNA and Telemetry Technician. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she served in numerous ministry groups.

Denise leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Alfonzo Walker Jr. her children through marriage, Jermichael McClain, Darius Brown, and Michael Freeman. A beloved sister Anita Manuel and devoted niece, Diamond Shelton and family, Johntavious Shelton, Jewel Shelton, and Johntavious Shelton II. Her cherished Uncle Donald Hamilton and Uncle Eddie Joe Anderson along with her cherished Aunt Nora Lee Deck and Aunt Jane Hackler. Her four godchildren, Yvonne Hamilton, Jordan Fitts, Zaydyn Anderson, and Kadence Roberts. Very special friends Kelley and Todd Dabbs, along with her mother figure Treva Posey-Edmonds. Denise will be remembered for her faith, compassion, and dedication to serving others. Her loving spirit and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Denise's life and legacy..
