

He retired from The Pet Milk in 1991 after 43 years of service.
Mr. Starnes was a member of The House of the Lord Church, where he attended as long as his health permitted.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Faye Gentry Starnes (together they sang Gospel song in churches and nursing homes for over 50 years); daughter and son-in-law: Kathy and Gary Collins; grandson and wife: Kenny and Sarah Ricker Collins; two great grandchildren: Weston and Reagan Collins; sister and brother-in-law: Ruth and Fred Keller; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Daniel Kent Collins; two sisters: Betty Jones and Helen Alls; mother: Bessie Wills Starnes; father: Wade Starnes; half-brother: Conley Starnes; and an uncle: Blanco Wills.
The family would like to thank Laughlin Memorial Hospital staff and 4th floor nurses and Caris Hospice staff and nurses for their wonderful care during the time of sickness.
The family will receive friends from 4pm-7pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ray Shelton, Rev. Lynn Mercer, and Rev. Buster Shelton officiating.
Interment will be at 11am Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery (city). Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10am Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenny and Weston Collins, Jackie Holt, Steve Keller, Tom Kerlin, and Lynn Mercer.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Kenneth Susong, Dr. Prince, and the members of The House of the Lord Church.
