She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Margene was known for greeting everyone with a smile.
She was retired after 45 years in the banking industry. She attended Greeneville First Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years: Charles D. Ottinger; son: John (Heidi) Deyton; daughter: Kristy (Steven) Foulks; stepchildren: Jennie Phipps, Sheila (Dave) Neas, and Randy (Sandy) Ottinger; grandchildren: Elijah (Carlee) Deyton, Deanna McCoy, Daphanie McCoy, Lindsey (Jacob) Johnson, Josh (Jessie) Neas, Jessie (Heath) Smith; great grandchildren: Charlotte Deyton, Donnie Price, Koaltyn Price, Everlee Holt, Krew Joiner, Bentleigh Neas and Riggs Neas; sisters-in-law: Sandra Denny, Ina Ruth Deyton, Loretta (Mike) Boone and Lynda Lamb; many special nieces and nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Clifford “Byrd” Lamb and Berla Lamb; brother: Garry Lamb; granddaughter: Reahanna McCoy and stepdaughter and son-in-law: Carla and Josh Crider.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4-7 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the service to follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Nathan Leasure, John Deyton and Rev. Ralph Shipley will officiate.
Interment will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday at Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 pm Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: John Deyton, Eli Deyton, Brian Bowman, Josh Neas, Jacob Johnson, Paul Collins and Steven Foulks.
