

She was a housewife and mother.
Mrs. Bullen was a devoted member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law: Wayne Bullen, Michael Bullen, and Tom and Paula Bullen of Greene County; five daughters and three sons-in-law: Pat and Robert Smith and Phyllis Brown of Cleveland, Tennessee, Karen and Chris Myers of Greeneville, Rosie and Al Campbell of Waynesboro, Virginia, and Mary Atchley of Morristown, Tennessee; grandchildren: Carl, Sarah and Forrest Bullen, Bryan, Chris and J.D. Bowers, Stacy Jobe, Greg Rollins, Lora Dickerson, Megan Yost, Darcy, Kimmy, and Caroline Campbell, John and Jason Bullen, Lindsay Johnson, Adam and Katie Myers, Sydney and Patrick Atchley, Emily and Abby Bullen ; six great grandchildren; brother: Francis Mattingly of Illinois; sister: Mildred Flottman of Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece and nephew: Kathrine Pinkston and Allen Woods.
She was the daughter of the late John S. and Mildred Schmidt Mattingly and was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Bullen; son: Mark Bullen; and several brothers and sisters.
The Rev. Jim Harvey will conduct a Catholic Funeral Liturgy at 8:00 p.m. Thursday from the Chapel of Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Hunt’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. Friday to go in procession to the committal service.
Her grandsons will be her pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home preceding the funeral service.
