She was a beloved mother, and she loved fishing, going to the casino, and yard sales, where she picked up many, many bargains. Betty especially loved Conway Twitty, she was one of his biggest fans.
Betty is survived by her children, Christine “Goobie” Landers, Danny Landers, Tammy Greene, and Luann “Lulu” Honeycutt; grandchildren, Tamara Thacker, Matthew Landers, Brandon Landers, Calvin “CJ” Landers, Rodney Greene, Karen Smith, Selena Gentry, Sierra Gentry, and Tyler Honeycutt; a sister, Carolyn Scott; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by special caregiver, Jackie Berry Hill, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Landers; her parents, Haywood and Clyda Scott; sisters, Imogene Scott, Helen Scott, Lillian Scott, Rose Scott, Linda Scott, and Enice Scott; and brothers, Bill Scott, Marion Scott, John Scott, Kenneth Scott, and Charley Scott; and a grandson, Timothy “Scooter” Jr. Watts.
