Survivors include her brother: Mack Hensley of Greene County; sister-in-law: Lounell Hensley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Polly Anna Hensley and was preceded in death by sisters, Denna Heinonen, Mable Shelton, Mary Hensley, Ermia Hensley and Evelyn Joyce Hensley Aiken; brothers, Lewis, Tony, Paul, Allen and Prince Hensley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dolphus Cutshaw officiating.
Interment will be in Zion Cemetery in Baileyton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions and donations be made to their memorial fund at any Capital Bank or to Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
