

Mrs. Key she was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was very active as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women and a former member of the FCE Club.
Her family states, “She was a very special and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.”
She is survived by her husband of 71 years: James D. Key; a daughter and son-in-law: Carolyn and Don Kilday of Baileyton; a grandson: David Kilday of Knoxville; special great granddaughter: Mariah Kilday of Mosheim; two half sisters: Christina Foster of Chuckey and Loraine Sparks of Telford; half brother and wife: Q.L. and Sandy Starnes of Telford; brother-in-law: Larce Arrowood of Telford; several nieces and nephews including: Larry Arrowood, Noah Arrowood, Brenda Cutshaw, Linda Massey, and Diane Malone; two special sisters-in-law: Margaret Key and Kathleen Key; two sisters-in-law: Gladys Adams and Mable Key; and several cousins.
She was the daughter of the late Lacy T. and Nola Lee Campbell Starnes and was preceded in death by an infant brother, Luther Starnes, and a sister, Leota Arrowood.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral serivce will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2010, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Lon Broyles and Rev. T. J. Malinoski officiating. Interment will follow in Cross Anchor Cemetery.
Her pallbearers will be family and friends.
