

She retired from Magnavox after several years of service.
She was a member of Gethsemane United Methodist Church, where she attended as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Gethsemane Ladies Aid and the Ruritan.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Pat Hopson of Afton; granddaughter: Sherri White and husband Tim of Chuckey; a special great granddaughter: MaKenzie White of Chuckey; a special niece and her husband: Nicole and Randy Riddle and their children, Hannah, Seth, and Samuel Riddle of Greeneville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Carl Penley of South Central, Rex and Nadine Hopson, Lynn and Sandy Hopson, Wayne Hopson, Dean Bowman, Gail and Jack Ayers, and Faye and Reed Harrison, all of Greeneville, and Phyllis and Dave Saylor of Florida; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends; and her special friends and caregivers: Gladys Reaves, Marvella Taylor, Alice Faye Collins, Madge Britton, Katherine Myers, and Betty Gilland.
She was the daughter of the late Mark and Dicy Jennings and was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years: Blaine Hopson; a brother: Hugh Jennings; and a sister: Mrs. Kay Penley.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 12pm Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Doug Jennings officiating.
Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Her pallbearers will be Randy Riddle, Seth Riddle, Tim White, Steve Renner, Darrin Jennings, Cory Hopson, John Gilland, and Nat Renner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Reaves, Joe Harrison, Donnie Wright, and members of Gethsemane Church.
