

Mrs. Fann acquired her higher education after the death of her first husband. She served as a social worker for Holston Methodist Home for Children and for Greene Valley Developmental Center. After retirement, she devoted her energies to home and church (Mountain View Baptist Church). She was grateful for the opportunity it gave her to serve her God. She was an avid reader and gleaned spiritual solace from Eugenia Price, Katherine Marshall, and other Christian writers.
Survivors include a daughter: Nellie Woolsey; two great granddaughters: Ivana and Ivy Stills, both of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Ethel and Clyde Spiller; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Travis and Aline Crutcher, Stanley and Marjorie June Crutcher, all of Robertson County, which is where Mrs. Fann was raised; sister-in-law: Pearl Morgan;
several nieces and nephews; and a special caregiver of several years: Jennifer Myers.
The was the daughter of the late Thomas Alfred and Bertrice Ethlea Crutcher and was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Herbert Woolsey; and later by her second husband, Vance Fann; a grandson, Ivan Stills; and a brother, James Thomas “J.T.” Crutcher.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday, December 12, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.
Interment will follow at Harris Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David West, Tom Morgan, Jr., David Priar, J. D. Ricker, Wayne Myers, Ray Cutshall, Melvin Seaton, Mike Crutcher, Tim Crutcher, and Clyde Crutcher.
