

She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Pittman was a member of Austin Springs United Methodist Church. She loved her church and church family.
Survivors include two grandsons and spouses: Michael and Nancy Brown of Johnson City, Alan and Shelly Brown of Smyrna, TN; four great grandchildren: Hollie Berry of Murfreesboro, TN, Derek Brown of Johnson City, Brittany Brown and Michael “Mickey” Brown, both of Smyrna, TN; and two great great grandchildren: Hudson Berry and John Thomas Berry of Murfreesboro.
She was the daughter of the late Swanay and Mae Broyles and was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Brown; husband, Roy Pittman; a son, Bill Brown; her twin sister, Helen Hollidge; and a half-brother, Lester Broyles.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Austin Springs UM Church. Rev. Gary Ihfe
will officiate.
Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Asbury Place of Johnson City for their wonderful care.
The family will receive friends 1 – 3 p.m. at Austin Springs UM Church.
