Flossie "Flo" Bowers

She was retired.

Mrs. Bowers was a member of Greeneville Church of Christ,

She was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary of VFW Post #1990.

She was a very loving mother and a very special grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years: Kenneth A. Bowers; son and daughter-in-law: Jackie Lynn and Patricia Bowers; two daughters and one son-in-law: Teresa and Robert Parker and Pam Bowers; grandchildren: Bryan Bowers, Chris Bowers, J.D. Bowers, and Boddie Bible; two sisters: Pauline Solomon and Dorothy Hunt; very special friend: Delana Blanton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillie Humphries Shelton and was preceded in death by two brothers: Dave Shelton and Leonard “Moose” Shelton; one sister: Juanita Grissom; and one grandchild: Kelly Bowers.

The family will receive friends from 5pm-7pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 7pm in the funeral home chapel with Minister Shane Hoover officiating.

Interment will be at 10am Friday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
