Gary worked in Maintenance at Northfork Southern for 30 years.
He is survived by his sons, Robby (Holly Colbaugh) Arrington, David Arrington, and Faye Arrington; a sister, Janice (Ward) Briggs; and grandchildren, Charlie and Bella Arrington and Alexis Arrington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Joseph Denton, Sr. and Glenna Arrington and is preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Denton, Jr. and Timothy Arrington; and a sister, Bernice Justice.
The family will receive friends 12-2pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel.
Interment will follow at a GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers are Charlie Arrington, Shannon Thorburg, Jacob Chambless, David White, Jeremy Trotter, Steve Briggs, and Don Droke.
Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
