Gay Nell King Laws

She was a member of First Church of Nazarene. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Survivors include a son: Mark Goodman of Ohio; daughter and son-in-law: Tamara and Joe Bickford; step-daughters and spouses: Tina and Bobby Cobble, Jaime and Bobby Easterly, Angela Dawn Laws, Sheree and Bill Nance; a special grandson: Jameson Batson; several step-grandchildren; sister: JoAnn Harrell; brother and sister-in-law: James and Kay King; step-brother and wife: Junior and Pat Story; step-sister and husband: Genna and Jim Warner; sister-in-law: Barbara King; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Montia Travis King and was preceded in death by her husband, James Laws; step-mother, Cosby King; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ralph Lloyd King, Rev. Edward and Cornelia Jo “Sis” King; and a step-sister, Linda Story.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, December 17, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stephen Rutherford officiating.

Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Easterly, Bobby Cobble, Bill Nance, Paul Hartman, B. J. Nease and Dale Harrell.
