George Geary Sydnor

He was a pharmacist having graduated from UT Memphis Pharmacy School in 1974. He was co-owner of Howard’s Pharmacy in Greeneville and Mosheim Pharmacy for over 30 years.

He was of the Church of Christ faith. He loved his family and had a passion for baseball.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rebecca Sydnor; two daughters and a son-in-law: Beth and Richie Foshie of Trinity, NC and Katie Sydnor of Knoxville; grandchildren: Mattie Foshie of Trinity, NC, Wesley and Taylor Foshie of Greeneville; a brother: Art and Susan Sydnor of Memphis; a sister: Jean Call of Memphis; several nieces and nephews; special friend: Dr. A.K. Sen of Greeneville.

He was the son of the late George D. and Bobbie Sydnor and was also preceded in death by a son, Matt Sydnor.

There will be no formal funeral service; however, the family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
