She was a retired physician.
She was born in Greene County and spent her early years here, returning in 1989.
Survivors include a special nephew: Bobby Barger; first cousin: Jim King of Houston, Texas; second cousin: Ann Dunn of Greeneville; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by a very dear friend: Stanley Faye; parents: Grover and Minnie King; sisters: Helen Elizabeth Barger, Marlyn Jenkins, Rosemary King; and brother: John Bill King.
There will be a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the committal service.
