

He loved and supported his family and they always came first no matter what and loved farming all of his life and it was his favorite pastime. He was a member of Solomon Lutheran Church where he served as a councilman and chairman of the property committee for many years and enjoyed fellowship with his church family. He was retired from Weavexx. He was a devoted supporter of South Greene athletics, loved his antique cars and showing them off at car shows, dirt track races and fishing trips with friends. He enjoyed his biweekly visits to the Greene County Schools Central Office to deliver donuts. He was a good Christian man who loved to serve and help others in any way he could.
Mr. Malone is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 57 years: Brenda Collins Malone; two daughters and one son-in-law: Myra and John Darnell and Tammy Jones; grandchildren and their spouses: Kelsey and Josh Gibson, Devyn and Kelsi Darnell, Sander Jones, Alec Jones, and Adalynn Jones; two sisters: Brenda Sue Malone and her spouse Kenneth and Charlotte Tweed, two sisters-in-law: Pauline Malone and Kay Collins; nephews: Kevin Malone, and Tim Solomon and his spouse Sonya; nieces: Tonya Cloyd and her spouse Joey, Terra Graham, and Bonnie Malone; and all those left to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Hubert Allen and Selma Bales Malone; brothers: Don Malone and Bob Malone; infant brothers: Kyle Allen and Charles William; sister: Betty Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bruce and Lavon Seaton Collins; brothers-in-law: Lyndel Smith, Kay Tweed, and Clarence Collins; two sisters-in-law: Mitzi Malone and Imogene Solomon and her spouse George; nephews: Chris Malone, Keith Malone, and David Solomon; his special friend: Curtis Wilhoit.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 pm on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted on Monday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tommy Collins officiating. Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Solomon, John Darnell, Josh Gibson, Devyn Darnell, Sander Jones, Alec Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be: The men of Solomon Lutheran Church, Lonnie “Hippie” Key, Freddie Solomon, Johnny Powers, Fred Wilhoit, Kenneth Malone, Lloyd Holt, Hal Stills, Howard Buzz Collins, Jimmy Chapman, Jim McCamey, Chris Ricker, Dr. Charles Montgomery, and Pastor Sterling Nelson.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Charles Montgomery, the Greeneville/Greene County EMS and the ICU staff of Johnson City Medical Center.
