She was retired from MECO.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a sister: Lady Davis; a very special nephew: Ricky Peters and wife, Mary; a very special great nephew: Samuel Peters; several other nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Lula Bowers Peters and was preceded in death by
two sisters, Lola Peters and Geneva Peters; two brothers, Walter Peters and Grady Peters.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012, at St. James Lutheran Church.
Pastor Larry Moore will officiate. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday at St. James Lutheran Church.
