Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home

Guy V. Morgan, 77, of the Asheville Highway, Greeneville, died Friday morning at Takoma Regional Hospital.

Guy V. was a charter member of God’s Church, where he served faithfully. Helping build the church was the highlight of his career even though he owned and operated three restaurants and Morgan Mortuary Transport for many years.

Survivors include his second wife: Myrtle Morgan; first wife: Lois Brooks; children and spouses: Guy Dean and Vickie Morgan and Angie Dickenson of Greeneville; step-son: Tony and Melanie Spears of Knoxville; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister: Shirley Gosnell of Greeneville.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Omer and Robbie Dale Morgan; son: Christopher Lee Morgan; brothers: Don Morgan, Birvin Morgan, and Dorse Morgan; and three sisters: Louise Ricker, Sue Ella Hensley and Brenda Gosnell.

The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jerry Williams and Rev. Ralph Hensley officiating.

Interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oasis Shrine Club, 604 Doug Mays Place, Charlotte, NC 28262.
