
He worked at Food City for several years.
Mr. Miller was a member of Faith Temple.
He formed the gospel group, “The Gospel Revue”, lasting 41 years with the group.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Jackie and Cyndi Miller of Smyrna, Tennessee, Jeff and Janice Miller and Jody Miller of Greene County; grandchildren: Brad and Melvina Miller of Chuckey, Tim and Candace Miller of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Eric Miller, Elizabeth and Cory Johnson, Erin, Devin, Angelena, Daniel and Michael Miller, all of Greene County, Dylan and Ashley Miller of Seymour, Tennessee, Brenden Miller of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and BriAnne and Specialist Kristopher Crowder of Fort Bliss, Texas; eight great grandchildren; brother: Ronald Miller; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Ramsey, Della Kate Miller, and Goldene Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Samuel and Lucy Richardson Miller and was preceded in death by his wife: Lena Miller; great granddaughter, Ava Miller; sisters: Joyce King, Marie Metcalf, and Bonita Miller; and brothers: Gordon Miller, Eddie Miller, J.C. and J. B. Miller, and Billy Miller.
The family will receive friends from 12pm-2pm Tuesday at Faith Temple.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the church with Rev. Doug White and Rev. Tommy Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Miller, Dean Miller, Danny Miller, Brad Miller, Tim Miller, Eric Miller, Dylan Miller, and Jonathan Nicholson.
Honorary pallbearers are the members and former members of The Gospel Revue and the staff of Durham Hensley.
