He was of the Free Methodist Faith.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Megan and Larry Sturdivant of Greeneville; son and daughter-in-law: Brigg and Darlene Hamilton of Plant City, Florida; grandchildren: Marshall Sturdivant of Greeneville, Sam Sturdivant of California; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Jean Hamilton, Mary Collins, Mabel and Phae Cutshall, all of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Hamilton, and a granddaughter, Tonya Hinkle.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Sunday, July 17, 2016, at O&S Chapel United Methodist Church, 160 W. Stagecoach Road, Greeneville, TN.
Interment will be held at a later date.
