He retired as a chemical engineer for Sun Oil Company.
Mr. Robinson was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church.
He was an officer with the St. James Volunteer Fire Department and he also worked as an ombudsman in nursing homes.
He kept wolves as pets, having four of them over the years.
Survivors include his daughter: Nenette Louise Winters of Wilmington, Delaware; son: Harry P. Robinson of Greeneville; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a lady friend: Donna Dearstone.
He was the son of the late Robert and Louise Messina Robinson.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Paula Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
