

She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Dearstone was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years: Bill Dearstone; son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Vanessa Dearstone of Chuckey; daughter-in-law: Priscilla Freeman of Greeneville; grandchildren: Angie and Stephen Turbyfield of Chuckey, Holly Ricker and fiancé Lynn Tweed of Chuckey, Ashley and Timmy Thompson of Chuckey, Thomas Dearstone of Chuckey, Carrie and Daniel Lloyd of Yuma, Virginia; great grandchildren: Megan Holt, Drew Turbyfield, Mason Turbyfield, Brantlee Holt, Harley Thompson, Jade Foreman, Elynn Turbyfield, Sophia Dearstone, Knox Tweed, and Taylor Lloyd; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Ted and Mary Ann Dearstone; three sisters-in-law: Evelyn Dunn, Betty Jones, and Jane Jones; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends; and three special friends: Andrew and Casey Holt and Sarah Foreman.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dewey and Eliza Brigman; sisters: Barbara Metcalf and Norma Gaby: brothers: Lance Jones, Hal Jones, and Max Jones; and brothers-in-law: Andrew Metcalf, Ransom Gaby, and Ralph Dunn.
The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Kenneth Nickle, the staff of Life Care Center of Greeneville, and Dr. Kevin Toppenburg.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Vanessa Dearstone, 112 Liberty Hill Road, Chuckey.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. E. J. Swatsell officiating.
Interment will be at 11:00 am Friday in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:30am Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.
