

He was a farmer and worked at the Caney Branch Convenience Center as long as his health permitted.
Mr. Blazer was a member of O & S Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of Caney Branch Volunteer Fire Department for many years.
Survivors include his cousins: Bobby Smelcer of Greeneville and Willie Mae Holt of Bristol, Virginia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Robert and Patsy Smith and Joe and O’Dean Babb, all of Greeneville, Jane Collins of Morristown; niece and husband: Lisa and Wilton Chapman of Greeneville; numerous out-of-town nieces and nephews; and his special friends: Nick and Peggy Neas, Gary and Debbie Sams, Bob and Carol Hartman.
He was the son of the late Herman and Glynnis Blazer and was preceded in death by his wife, Scottie Blazer; a daughter, Douglas Ann Blazer; and one sister, Marie Blazer Smelcer.
The family will receive friends 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. Tuesday preceding the funeral service at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Joe Phillips
officiating.
Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dunk Neas, Bob Myers, L. C. Bowers, Kendall Bowers, Johnny Ottinger, Craig White, Joe Holt, and Ron Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Neas, Mark Smelcer, David Brown, Johnny Tweed, Danny Campbell, Charles Bales, Fredna Myers and Mary Sue Brakebill.
