J. T. Harmon

He was an employee of Crown Tonka and was a farmer.

Mr. Harmon was a member of Lighthouse Free Will Baptist Church and attended as long as his health permitted.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert and Freddie Ann Harmon and Jeffery and Vicky Harmon of Greeneville; grandchildren: Mitch Harmon, Rebecca Harmon, and Logan Harmon; two step granddaughters: Sabrina White and Amber Fields; two step great grandsons: Maddox Smith and Evan White; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ardell and Patsy Harmon and George and Diane Harmon, all of Greeneville; and a sister: Earnestine Harmon of Greeneville.

He was the son of the late Wardell and Mattie Bell Harmon and was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Harmon.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Junior Weems, Rickey Belt, Josh Shelton, Randy Jones, Simon Wilhoit, Bud Rupert.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Charles Montgomery, and the men of Lighthouse FWB Church.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
