He was a construction worker.
Survivors include his wife: Rebecca Shelton; two daughters: Nakecia Oaks and Dixie Shelton; parents: Larry Shelton and Vickie Shelton; step mother: Patricia Waits Shelton; step father: Ronnie Jones; three sisters: Amanda Hillman, Dawn Broyles, and Stacy Shelton; grandmothers: Silvia Shelton and Anna Baldwin; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; nieces and nephews: Jaleigh Hillman, Austin Hillman, Tessa Shelton, Elissa Shelton, Chentae Shelton, Braxton Watts, Kansas Broyles, and Matthew Watts.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Shelton and Andrew Baldwin.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel. Rev. Daryl Shelton and Rev. Larry Shelton will officiate.
After services, the body will be cremated.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Rose Hill Funeral Home.
