He was employed at J & J Tool and Die. Jacob was an avid 4- wheeler racer.
Survivors include his father and mother: Jackie and Vicki Nanney, of Greeneville; brother and sister-in-law: Jesse and Heather Nanney of Knoxville; niece: Julia Nanney; grandfather: J.C. Brooks of Greeneville; grandmother: Shirley Nanney of Greeneville; a special uncle: Jamie Nanney; uncles and aunts: Phil and Becky Brooks, Gary and Donna Garland, Van and Debbie Brooks; several cousins; and a host of friends, including special friends: Ryan Akers of Elizabethton and Tyler Smith of Greeneville.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Sue Brooks, and his grandfather, Leroy Nanney.
The family will receive friends 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm Sunday, July 3, 2016, in the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jonathan Richey of Memphis will officiate.
