James Jones

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years: Ruth Henderson Jones; son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Stacy Jones; daughters and son-in-law: Brandie and Stacy Sullivan and Jennifer Henderson; sister: Cora Sue Barkley; sisters-in-law: Shirley Jones and Kathy White; brothers-in-law and spouses: Billy and Darla Dean, Robert and Lori Dean, and Taylor Laster; grandsons: Spencer Cutshall, Garrett Cutshall, Carter Church, Dalton Henderson, Ethan Dykes, Eli Dykes, and Stacy Sullivan Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery in Baileyton. The Greene County Honor Guard and the Tennessee National Guard will conduct a military graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Spencer Cutshall, Garrett Cutshall, Carter Church, Ethan Dykes, Eli Dykes, Kent Jones, Stacy Sullivan, and David Barkley.

Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Brown, Dalton Henderson, and Stacy Sullivan Jr.
