He was a mechanic. Phil loved to work on cars and was a great mechanic. He could fix anything and was also a great NASCAR fan.
He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.
Survivors include: his wife: Leann Drawdy Robinson; one son: Phillip Robinson of Mohawk; his mother: Lois Smith of Mohawk; a sister and brother-in-law: Sandra and Jermain Bowers of Greeneville; a goddaughter: Vickie Weber of Rogersville; a special aunt: Charlotte Bird of Greeneville; his nieces and nephews: Jodi, Gena, Justin, Brandy, Aimee, Jimmy, Robbie and Tina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father: James "Pineknot" Robinson; a brother: Paul Robinson; and a sister: Sharon Dodson.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Donnie Bible will officiate.
Interment will follow in Phillipi Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his special friends.
