Janice Wilhoit

She was a member of West Greene Free Will Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She was retired from John Deere and was a past employee of Weavex and CVS. Janice graduated from South Greene High School in 1972.

Janice is survived by four sisters and one brother, Carolyn Brooks, Jeanetta Sexton, Patricia (Lenten) Taylor, Frances (Gary) Gridley, and J.H. (Cindy) Wilhoit Jr.; nieces and nephews, Valerie Gonzalez, Stephanie Brobeck, Buffie Shepherd, Jessica Taylor, and Dr. Patrick Taylor; along with several great and great-great nieces and nephews, whom she loved as if they were hers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess Wilhoit Sr. and Glenice Wilhoit, and brother-in-laws, Leonard Brooks and Kenneth Sexton.

Pallbearers will be Willis Ricker, Kenny Ricker, Patrick Taylor, Jacob Lawrence, Kevin Brobeck, Joe Gonzalez, Cody Shipley, Ethan Lawrence, Kim Henry, Mike Henry, and Robert Wilhoit.

Honorary pallbearers will be Zachery Shepherd, Hambrick and Ty Taylor, Sabrina Fender, the members of West Greene Free Will Baptist Church, and members of the EMS and Greene County Sheriff’s Department.

The family will receive friends 5-7pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home, and a second visitation will be held 1-2pm Wednesday preceding the funeral service.

The Funeral Service will be at 2pm Wednesday in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel, officiated by Rev. Dexter Brummitt and Rev. Jeff Daughtery.

Interment will be held at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens following the funeral service.
