Jennie Louise "Weezy" Landers

She retired from Magnavox.

Mrs. Landers was a member of Cedar Creek Presbyterian Church.

She loved everyone she met and was loved in return. She loved to go to the Friday night Jam Session at Reformation Lutheran Church, where she had many friends.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years: Paul Michael “Tubby” Landers; one son and daughter-in-law: Ricky Paul and Ashley Landers; granddaughter: Makenzie Landers; one brother: Ralph “Petey” Collins; special nieces and husbands: Lori and Howard Dowell, Natalie and Edward Bud McKinney Jr., Michelle and Dwayne Covington; several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; two brothers-in-law: Darry Sheppard and Dean Landers and wife, Sandy; sister-in-law: Florence Sheppard and husband, Jim; and special friend: Beryl Freshour.

She was preceded in death by a grandson: Cody Landers; parents: Ralph “Pete” and Geraldine Collins; sister: Peggy Lunghofer; and special nephew: Jimmy Dean Landers.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Harrell Cobb and Pastor Marci Cobb officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Arnold Landers Family Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bolyard, Howard Dowell, Edward Bud McKinney, David Franklin, Austin Bolyard, and Eddie Wilcox.
