Jerrie Brown

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Brown was of the Baptist faith.

She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sadly missed; even in sickness, she was known to be full of joy.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years: Gene Brown; son: Kenneth Brown; daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and Gary Kirk; four grandchildren: Devin and Josh Brown, Kattie Kincaid and spouse Wesley, and Kellie Kirk; one great grandchild: Talan Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Mack and Mildred Horner Arwood and was preceded in death by her sisters: Lois Ellenburg, Mabel Starnes, Katherine Rudder, and Charlotte Shiflet; and brothers: John Arwood and Bobby Arwood.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Jeff Blake officiating.

Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Her pallbearers will be Tim Rudder, Josh Brown, Harold Cornette, Bryan Arwood, Dale Kirk, and James Justice.
