He worked as a carpenter at King’s Construction for 31 years.
Jesse is survived by his wife of two years, Penny Richards; a daughter, Summer Nicole Richards; four stepdaughters, Cassandra Johnson, Krystal (Nick) Bucklew, Alison (Davie) Buckner, and Brandie (Justin) Effler; nine step-grandchildren; a sister, Michelle (Todd) Edwards; brother, Michael Richards; Aunt Pearl and Uncle Gene Mercer; several cousins and nephews; and special friends, Gary and Brad King, Billy Graves, Pee-Wee, and Keith R.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Richards and Lois Mercer.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday 10-12pm and 2-4pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
