Jewell E. Westmorland

She was employed by Sterchi Brothers Store for many years and later with Phillips Consumer Electronics, from which she retired. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Crusaders Class.

Jewel is survived by her son, Walter Kim Westmorland; brother-in-law, Sven Hadjopoulos; a special niece, Gloria Hashbarger Johnson of Gainesville, Georgia; and special friend, Medra Renner.

Jewel was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Westmorland, Jr., parents, Tom and Alice Hashbarger; a sister, Mary Lou Hadjopoulos; brother, Tracy Hashbarger; a beloved sister-in-law, Juanita Hashbarger, sister-in-law, Frances Morrison; special nephew Steve Hadjopoulos; special friend, Irene Keasling, Justine Wills and Donell Scarboro.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal visitation. Friends and relatives may call at their convenience.

A graveside service will be held on Friday morning, September 9, 2022 at 11 am in Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Sarah Varnell officiating.
