Jimmie Allen Pates

He had a long history in the car business. He was a loyal and devoted employee and good friends to many. He knew every aspect of the car business and his opinion was highly valued. He will leave an imprint on all of our hearts and minds.

He is survived by his mother: Patricia (Patsy) Pates; one sister: Deena Johnson; one nephew: Tyler J. Cannon of Colorado; a special cousin: Alex McLean; several other cousins; his special loved pet: "Baby Cat" that loved him dearly; special close friends: Ricky and Tammy Moore, Jeff Craft, Terry Babb, and numerous others.

He was preceded in death by his father: Jimmie G. Pates; his grandparents:

Mr. and Mrs. Foy Pates; and Effie F. Cox; and several aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Gibbs officiating.

There will be no formal visitation.

At his request he will be cremated.
