

She was a seamstress and cafeteria worker at South Greene High School.
Mrs. Seaton was founder and lifetime member of Open Door Tabernacle Church where she, family members, and others converted Chestnut Ridge School into Open Door Tabernacle Church in 1957.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Phil and Pat Wilhoit of Chuckey; grandchildren: Sam Wilhoit and wife, Crystal, Jason Kilday, Kristy Radar and husband, Josh, Ted Wilhoit and wife, Kim, Curt Wilhoit, all of Mosheim, Simon Wilhoit and wife, Angela, Adam Wilhoit and wife, Danica, all of Greeneville, Kim “Kritter” Malone and husband, Jimmy, of Chuckey, Holy Giampietro and husband, Matt, of Pennsylvania, Danielle Wilhoit Seaton and husband, Rev. Bradley, of South Carolina; several loving great grandchildren; several special nieces and nephews; stepchildren: Ted Seaton, Wayland Seaton, Dennis Seaton, Elizabeth Jones and Peggy Keller, all of Greene County; and a sister: Wanda Brobeck of Greeneville.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas Edgar and Penelope Hensley Jennings and was preceded in death by two husbands: Samuel “Sam” Wilhoit and Troy Seaton; a son: Wayne Wilhoit; a step-daughter: Janice Covington; brothers: Jeff Jennings and Luke Jennings; and sisters: Ted Bawgus, Schrelda Showman, Viola Jennings, Ida Albright and Leva Shelton.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 8 pm Friday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mikel Hensley and Rev. Bradley Seaton officiating.
Interment will be at 11 am Saturday in Cedar Grove Cemetery on Chuckey Pike.Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 am Saturday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
The family wished to express a special thanks to the nurses and CNA’s of Life Care Center of Greeneville and Caris Healthcare.
