JoAnn Miller

She was a housewife and attended Morning Star Independent Baptist Church.

She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Mrs. Miller is survived by four sons and one daughter-in-law: Russell and Judy Miller and Charlie Miller of Afton, John Miller of Chuckey, and Billy Joe Miller of Greeneville; three daughters and sons-in-law: Betty A. and Fred Childress and Connie and David Tipton of Chuckey and Nancy and Don Stout of Orlando, Florida; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one brother: Jimmy Hilton of Erwin; two sisters: Nell Helton of Telford and Mary Ruth Helton; and a special friend: Steffany Taluskie.

She was the daughter of the late Ed and Fairy Belle Piercy Peterson and was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Miller; a son, Donald Miller; and two grandsons, Keith and Robert Miller.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton officiating.

Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. Sunday in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet 12:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home to go in procession for the committal service.

Her pallbearers will be David Miller, Lee Miller, Chad Miller, Anthony Tipton, Brad Whaley, Tim Tipton, Wayne Childress, and Mark Childress.
