He was a service technician for Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality.
John is survived by his wife: Anita Bumgardner; son: Marcus (Adriann) Bumgardner; daughter: Brynna Bumgardner; stepson: Thomas (Faith) Garretson; uncle and aunt: Robert and Marsha Marshall; and mother-in-law: Judy Blackburn.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a younger brother: Marcus James Bumgardner.
There will be no formal services at this time.
