John D. Lacko

John attended Solomon Lutheran Church.

He was a retired Navy SEAL and Attorney.

John is survived by his wife, Paula Lacko; his children, David (Teressa) Lacko of Florida, Kim (Dave) Golden of Florida, Lori (Paul) Theos of Florida, and Richard (Debby) Tisza of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Judson (Sally) Lacko of Pennsylvania, James (Patty) Lacko of Pennsylvania, and Paul (Cam) Lacko of Pennsylvania; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Lacko.

The family will receive friends 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held 1pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Solomon Lutheran Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Moore and Rev. Sonya Solomon.

A military graveside will follow in the church cemetery, conducted by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and the Greene County Honor Guard.

Pallbearers are Paul Lacko, Leo Payne, Erick Parks, Grayson Ellenberg, Jared Ellenberg, Ricky Tisza, and David Lacko.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
