

Johnny was proceeded in death by his wife; Beth Cooter: mother; Evelyn Cooter: his father; John Paul Cooter: and his brother; Danny Cooter.
Surviving family includes Johnny’s children; Johnna Ann Cooter, Matthew Cooter, Victoria Galenski, and Steven Meade: and one uncle; Bob “Archie” Cooter of Dayton, OH.
Johnny was a truck driver for around 50 years, and many have memories of Johnny driving at a very young age. He could back a trailer on a dime and blindfolded.
Those who met him found him lovable and talkative. Johnny never met a stranger and had a good sense of humor. His energy and animation were most memorable. Johnny fought a seventeen year battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was a warrior.
He was a member of Green Hills Baptist Church, and grew up in the Hartshaw community. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, music, and trucking.
There will be no visitation or formal services and he will be laid to rest at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens in Greeneville, Tennessee.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr Anindya Sen & Trish, Amazing Amy, Dr. Dharmen Patel and the Oncology Team. Special thanks to Dr. Richard Aasheim, and special thanks to Stacy Carter and Jackie Hartman. Johnny loved them one and all.
