He was survived by two daughters: Brittany and her husband Timothy Burgner and Ashley Melton; granddaughter: Evelyn Anne Burgner; two sisters: Rebecca Melton and Teresa Melton and Jan Winchester the mother of his children; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Brownlow and Nellie Melton.
Family and friends will gather for a time of celebration from 12:30 until 2:30 pm Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
A graveside serve will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm at Carter’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
