Josephine "Jo" N. Jones

She was a Quality Control Technician retiring after 28 years of service with Baxter Pharmaceuticals.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include a daughter: Judy Jones Hughes of Chuckey with whom she made her home; a son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Janet Jones of Jonesborough; grandchildren: Pam Shelton and husband, Jimmy, of Greeneville; Kim Morton and husband, Jonathan , of Hampton, TN; Ashley Jones of Jonesborough; great grandchildren: Macey Salyers, Jonathan Morton II, Maddix Morton, Greyson Shelton, and Michael Shelton; one sister: Marilee Hurley of Rheatown; sisters-in-law: Bernice Wilson of Elizabethton; Shirley Jones of Telford; Charlotte Hensley and husband, Glen, of Kingsport; Mary Ola Jones of San Antonio, TX; several nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Claudie and Gladys Gregory and was preceded in death by her

husband, Herbert H. Jones; granddaughter, Jan Hughes; son-in-law, Roger Hughes.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Lester Lattney

officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, at Chuckey Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Shelton, Michael Shelton, Jeff Sparks, Adam Brumit, Gary Brumit, Jonathan Morton and David Salyers.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
