Joyce Pounders

She was retired from American Greetings.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was devoted to her family.

She is survived by one daughter: Angela Williams; step-daughters and their husbands: Kim and Bryan Cannon, and Kelly and Jerry Brown; step-son: Michael Pounders; seven grandchildren including a special granddaughter Brittany Lowe of the home; nine great grandchildren; one sister: Darlene Kelley and one brother: Jerry Dunbar.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Wayne Pounders; one grandchild: Dakota Williams; parents: Walter and Betty Dunbar; a sister: Kaye Gunter and husband Michael; and one brother: Jackie Dunbar.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Danny Ricker officiating.

Interment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery following the service.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
