Juanita Scott

Mrs. Scott and her husband, John, owned Crossroads Grocery for many years. She was a member of Harris Memorial FWB Church, where she played pian for 65 years. She was a member of Ladies on a Mission group. She was very active in the church and her community.

She is survived by her children: Frank (Teresa) Scott, Lynn (Kathy) Scott, and Lois (Spencer) Smith; her grandchildren: Andrew (Joy) Scott, John Scott, Alexandra (Erik) Scott, Leslie Smith, and Charlie (Casey) Smith; great grandchildren: Bella Whitson, Bralie Whitson, Porter Smith, Mary Sage Smith, Connor Panazzo; sister, Imogene Shipley; sister-in-law, Sandra Renner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John M Scott; her parents, Minnis and Selma Renner; sister, Elizabeth Shiflet; brother, Dwight Renner; and two brothers-in-law, Buford Shipley and Harry Shiflet.

The family will receive friends on Saturday 12:00-2:00 pm at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Ken Smith will officiate.

Interment will then be conducted at Harris Memorial Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Scott, John Scott, Charlie Smith, Nathan Shiflet, Mark Shipley, Doug Collins, and Michael Thompson.
