

She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Collins was a member of Cedar Creek Church of God where she was very active as long as her health permitted.
Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law: Katrina and Richard Brown of Mosheim, Fawn and Mitchell Westmoreland of Greeneville, Gail and Martin Kiker of Greenville, South Carolina, and Jody and Wes Johnson of Moore, South Carolina; one son: Carroll Collins of Greeneville; grandchildren and spouses: Gena and Mac McCandless, Alona and Tim Chastain, Angie and Franklin Lane, Lindsey and Seth Reeves and Jason Shelton; great grandchildren: Chris, Sheena and Michael McCandless, Trent Landreth, Anna Lacy Lane, Eli and Avery Reeves; a great great grandson: Zain McCandless; one sister: Beatrice Witt of Kingsport; a brother: Clinton Waddell and wife, Betty, of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late David F. and Frances Holt Waddell and was preceded in death by her husband, David “Sam” Collins; three sisters: Lydia Seaton, Ioda Solomon, and Elsie Renner; four brothers: Herbert, Claude, Oscar, and Luke Waddell.
The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Cedar Creek Church of God with Rev. Brice Casey and Rev. Andy Christiansen officiating. The body will be taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes preceding the service.
Pallbearers will be Chris McCandless, Jason Shelton, Franklin Lane, Seth Reeves, Tim Chastain, Trent Landreth, and Michael McCandless.
Honorary Pallbearers are the nurses and staff of Laughlin Health Care Center and the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice.
