She was a housekeeping supervisor at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who will be missed.
Survivors include: a son, Curtis Murphy; a granddaughter, Brooke (Chad) Ricker; one great granddaughter, Heidi Ricker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Etter and Lela Carpenter, six sisters, and four brothers.
The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow in the chapel. Rev. Ross Helton will officiate.
Interment will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at Shelton Mission Cemetery. Family and friends will be pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
