Katie Ruth Ricker Mills

She retired from MECO.

She attended Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.

Survivors include her nieces and spouses: Lori Ricker Bryant, Linda and Robert Ayres, Kathy and Allan Davis, Janice and Art Love, Ruthie Palmer, Gail and Floyd Blackwell, Diane Phelps, Bernice Ricker and Carolyn; nephews and spouses: Norman and Shirley Ricker, Donnie Ricker, Jerry and Frances Ricker, J.D. Ricker; sisters-in-law: Helen Ricker and Beulah Mae Ricker; and several great nieces and great nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Dave and Stella Ricker and was preceded in death by her first husband: Clyde Williams, Sr.; and her second husband: James Mills; and brothers: James L. V. Ricker, Ersie Ricker, Carter Ricker, Jay Ricker, Curtis Ricker, and Herman Ricker.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Buster Shelton officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery.

Her pallbearers will be Norman Ricker, Jerry Ricker, Jason Phelps, Randall Allan Davis, and Randall Davis.

Paul Seaton, Guy Dean Seaton, Minnis Waddell, Silas Seaton, Signature Health Care staff, and the 4th floor and ER staff at Laughlin Memorial Hospital will serve as honorary pallbearers.
