

He was a retired employee of Enka Corp.
Mr. Miller was a member of Limestone Free Will Baptist Church.
He was bass singer of Unity Quartet for many years in Genoa, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years: Lois F. Miller; a son and daughter-in-law: Dale and Barbara Miller of Mosheim; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Joyce and John Cansler of Knoxville, Phyllis and Milton Gross of Chuckey, Sandy and Rick Parvin of Greeneville, Beverly Hilton and Robbie Seals of Mosheim; 7 grandchildren: Bradley Cansler and wife, Delia, Jason Cansler and wife, Andrea, Brian Miller and wife, Nicole, Mary Scruggs and husband, Gary, Robbey Gross, Ryan Parvin, Staci Parvin; 9 great grandchildren: Zackery Scruggs, Sandi Inscore, Ethan Scruggs, Nikki Miller, Lisel Miller, Sidney, James, Olivia and William Cansler; a sister: Betty Vannoy of Chuckey; two brothers-in-law, Doyle Malone and wife, Joan, of Connecticut and Bud Malone of Mosheim; several nieces and nephews; and his special pet: Prince “Peanut”.
He was the son of the late Dewey and Pearl Hensley Miller and was preceded in death by three sisters: Reda Bitner, Leatha Childress and Edith G’fellers; and a special sister-in-law and traveling companion, Juanita Ramsey.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim Roach, Rev. Tim Broyles, and Rev. Alfred Cutshall officiating.
Interment will be at 11 am Thursday in Graceland Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10 am Thursday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Miller, Robbey Gross, Ryan Parvin, Bradley Cansler, Jason Cansler, and Gary Scruggs.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Richard Aasheim and nurse, Rachel, Cindy Taliaferro, and Brad Lamons, a neighbor.
